Globewise is continuously (re)searching for new projects that can use our financial support. The projects are chosen and assessed according to a careful selection process. In order to be supported by Globewise, projects must meet the following minimum criteria:

The project, preferably, focuses on regular education for poor children and young people in the age category of 6 to 20 years.

The project focuses on primary and secondary education, vocational education and/or improving the quality of education.

The project is located in Africa or Asia.
-
A clear description of the aim of the project is provided.
-
The project is led by a strong local organization and is in line with the needs of the local community.

Globewise's contribution must demonstrably be spent on education.
-
It is a medium-sized project: operating costs are between EU 50,000 and EU 750,000 per year.
-
Continuity of the project is guaranteed and the project has passed the start-up phase.

Resources can be demonstrably be seen to be used in an efficient way and both direct and indirect project costs are relatively low.

Does the organization for which you are placing a request support work in a (stable) developing country in Africa or Asia?

Are you looking for support for a project that focuses on education?

Are the children targeted by the project between the ages of 6 and 20?

Has the project passed the start-up phase and is it sustainable?

Can the project provide strong references? We prefer projects with a Dutch connection or representation or those with good references from other reliable (international) cooperation partners.

Are the operating costs of the total organization, under which this project falls, between 50,000 - 750,000 Euros per year?
Have all the above 6 questions been answered with 'yes'? Then send us a request for a donation including details of the project. Include a brief description of the project and/or the organization and enclose the most recent annual accounts and send it to: info@globewise.nl.
We will process your application and aim to provide a response within a few weeks of receipt.

How can we ensure the greatest possible impact of donations for the children and for our donors?
We are convinced of 'effective giving', based on the principle that all Euros are spent as effectively as possible and that we can make this as transparent as possible to all those involved. We provide insight into how every Euro has been spent and what it has yielded for the children as well as for the sponsors and donors.

If you commit yourself to Globewise as an organization, you commit yourself to an efficient and effective process managed by professional people who are not only fully involved in the projects and the children on a personal level, but also with our donors because they believe in achieving a sustainable impact together. Your ‘people, planet and profit’ goals as a sponsor/donor are taken as the basis for a tailor-made sponsorship plan.

In line with your wishes, we look for recruit projects that best suit your needs. We offer companies the opportunity to either; donate (once or frequently), to think about fun business campaigns that could support Globewise or we work together to create a proposal for a sustainable collaboration in which 'business for education' is the overarching theme.

As a fan of Globewise you decide how much and when you want to donate. We understand that with a multitude of charities, companies also want the option to donate on a one-off basis or by installment. To make donating as accessible as possible, pressing the donate button on our website is all that is needed.

As a 'friend' of Globewise you can organise fundraising activities independently or together with us. This varies from a sponsored walk to other fundraising campaigns. Sign up on our website if you are interested in organising a fundraising activity for Globewise.

Als partner van Globewise ‘adopteer’ je een Globewise project en kun je hiermee invulling geven aan je eigen MVO-doelen en aan je je employer branding (aantrekkelijk werkgever). Veel organisaties vinden het interessant en passend zich juist in deze tijd te afficheren met een organisatie op het gebied van onderwijs.

As a partner of Globewise you 'adopt' a Globewise project and with it you can give substance to your own ‘people, planet and profit’ goals and to your employer branding (attractive employer). Many businesses currently find it interesting and appropriate to partner with an organisation in the field of education.
Globewise partner offers your organization the following options:
• Employees can visit a Globewise project. This also includes trainee programmes, internships, knowledge sharing, etc.
• Fundraising activities (sponsor run, events, auctions, Globewise lunch, etc.) with the aim of raising money for Globewise. Globewise can play a supporting role in the development and implementation of these activities, such as helping make logos, posting on social media channels, making knowledge or speakers available etc.
• Organizing knowledge sessions with speakers from Globewise's projects/network
• Participation in the annual Globewise fundraising event to which customers and related parties can be invited. Or organsie your own fundraising event in which Globewise can play a role, with or without the support of our volunteers and our ambassador.

How can we ensure the greatest possible impact of donations for the children and our donors?
We are convinced of 'effective giving', based on the principle that the Euros donated will be spent as effectively as possible and that we can demonstrate this transparently to all those involved. We provide insight into how every Euro has been spent and what it has yielded for the children as well as for the sponsors and donors.
